Experience the magical moments of pregnancy with Bloom Health.
We are a midwifery clinic offering early pregnancy scans, pregnancy wellness support, and antenatal classes. Our aim is to support Mothers and promote wellness and bonding at every step of pregnancy.
When it comes to pregnancy, receiving timely health care is vital. While our Health Service does an exceptional job at looking after pregnant women, there can be waiting times for early pregnancy scans in Dublin's maternity hospitals. Our ultrasounds are available without a GP's referral and with no waiting lists. Our services in no replace the care provided to you by your doctor but are a great additional support. Our care is linked with your GP and hospital care, ensuring our expectant mothers receive comprehensive pregnancy care and support.
Bloom Health is open to all women at any stage of pregnancy. Attend for one visit or several or avail of one of our packages. Our service aims to support you through this special time and our prices are family-friendly.
Early Pregnancy Scan
There is a significant clinical benefit to having an early pregnancy scan before 12 weeks. A Gestational sac can be seen at 5 weeks, or 1 week after a missed period. A Foetal Heartbeat can be seen at about 7 weeks.
At Bloom Health, we offer all of our clients’ pregnancy health and wellness advice. Our goal is to offer expectant mothers with the right support and guidance when it is needed the most.

Early pregnancy scans can be carried out as early as 5 weeks, or the first week after a missed period. There is no need to wait until the 12 week mark to have your first ultrasound.
Will using your services affect my hospital care?
No. Our services are used in addition to the standard maternity care and do not replace or affect them in any way. In fact, we link with your GP and hospital ensuring you receive comprehensive care and support.
